Bravo has a new teacher!
Griffin Sisk, our new instructor who teaches saxophone and beat-making, graduated from VCU music with a Bachelor’s degree in music. He was able to study saxophone with both JC Kuhl and Charles Owens and has furthered his music studies with various courses. These courses include jazz arranging I and II with Doug Richards. His studies incorporate electives that focused on Bartok, Stravinsky, Duke Ellington, and Stephen Sondheim. Sisk also took part in the Jazz Orchestra under Tony Garcia for four years. In addition to this education and experience, Sisk has toured with Butcher Brown, selling merchandise around the U.S. and Canada. He has been making beats since he was 16, using vinyl records, instruments, and hardware from the 90’s and 2000’s. Please join Bravo in welcoming Sisk to the team!
